The Venue- Chyan Community Field

The whole site is an organic environmental site, the site will need to be treated with respect. Acrobatic Camp is a chance to train in amazing circus skills in a beautiful cornish setting. The camp is for those wanting to train in circus skills and not a festival.

 

Rubbish

On arrival you will be given a green bag and a black bag for your recycling and rubblish.

If nappies are used on site, these must be taken away with you.

 

Alcohol & Drugs

STRICLY NO DRUGS ALLOWED.

Alcohol won't be sold on site.

 

Clothing

• Wear an appropriate top - Round neck t-shirt, V neck t-shirt or vest (high cut neckline)

• Trousers or shorts - (JEANS ARE NOT SUITABLE), please wear trousers or shorts which allow flexibility.

• Shoes - Please bring suitable shoes which are appropriate for outdoor physical activity.

 

What do you get for your ticket price, and what facilities are available?

 

Camping for the duration of your ticket. (See booking details for times etc)

 

All the wonderful classes and entertainments. These run as follows:

 

• Leisurely arrival on Wednesday

• Thursday to Sunday classes from 8am until about 9pm and Sunday 8am until Dinner time.

• Leisurely departure on Monday.

 

And the General Facilities:

 

• Camping space for approximately 100 tents.

• Hard standing for approximately 20 live in vehicles

• Wood fired/solar showers

• Communal Fire pit (please note that personal camp fires are not possible, for everyone’s safety and to protect the land.)

• Marvelously clean composting toilets (kept fragrant and delightful by our dedicated team of toilet fairies!)

• Pure spring water (Tested for drinking)

• Café serving simple vegetarian food.

• Small play park

• Basic supplies in the shop tent. Falmouth town is only about 5 miles away.

• Recycling facilities

• Fully insured site

 

Meal Included in the full pass (example):

 

• Breakfast - Porridge with Fruit / Cereals / Beans on Toast / Tea / Coffee

 

• Lunch (not include)- Soup + bread / Stuffed Pittas / Veggy Burger / Salad / Cakes / Fruit / Tea / Coffee

 

• Dinner - Soup + bread / Chilli and Pasta / Apple Crumble and Custard / Fruit / Tea / Coffee.

 

There will be opportunity for people to take a trip to the shops for any supplies they wish to buy.

 

Daily Minibus Trips

There will be a minibus trip to the local shops twice a day for anyone wishes to buy supplies.

 

A little bit more about our cafe and shop

We always advise campers to bring what they need to self-cater at Acrobatic Camp. In order to make things easier we have a shop and our own simple cafe on site as well.

 

The shop sells camp cooking essentials and healthy snacks and everything is organic. It also sells fresh fruit and veg from Chyan’s own community allotments, Chyan’s home pressed fruit juice and fresh bread from a good local bakery.

 

Our vegetarian cafe, Babajis offers breakfast from 8:30, a light lunch from 1 – 2pm and dinner served at about 6 – 8:00pm. Hot drinks and cakes are also available. Brownies and Chai are a favourite and we always have dairy and vegan alternatives. Where possible the cafe uses fruit and veg from Chyan’s own community allotments.
